澳式英語 “tradie” 是什麼意思？

在澳洲，「tradie」是指從事熟練技術工作的人——水電、木工、電工等等。澳洲人喜歡把字縮短，再加上「-ie」或「-y」：像是「brekkie」（早餐）、「arvo」（下午）、「barbie」（烤肉）。「Tradie」就是這樣來的。日常聊天、新聞報導都會聽到——雖然是口語，但完全正常、通用，不用刻意避開。
