在西班牙語裡，sentar bien 不是「坐」的意思。談論某物穿在人身上的效果時，te sienta bien 是「適合你」或「穿起來好看」。程度再升高就是 te sienta de maravilla ——「非常適合你、穿起來超好看」。所以 ese color te sienta de maravilla 就是說那個顏色很襯你。
這裡開玩笑對植物說：Ese verde te sienta de maravilla（「那個綠色超適合你」）。許多學習者會把 sentar（衣服、顏色適合）和 sentarse（坐下）搞混。衣服也可以說 te queda bien，意思差不多。
