There's / There Are
用來在對話中帶出新話題，或描述某個地方、某個情況下存在什麼。「There's a problem.」「There are three options.」「There was no one around.」在日常口語中，即使後面接的是複數名詞，「there's」也常常維持單數，例如「There's a lot of people.」
